Bulova... opinions required

hi there watch lovers,
maybe not as resounding as Rolex, Patek, or Heuer, but cant take my eyes off this Bulova watch... I'm in between its great large dial and readable face and the bracelet couples so well with the bezel margin, and a little reticent about the color diversity on the dial. It attracts me but not sure if it doesn’t look too loud… what do u think?

dont refuse some color in watches... bright dial indeed but not compromised readability. can't really say having seen many of such before, but not a bad option at all

feeling like a fish in water here ))) Got this beauty 4 years ago and didn’t give a damn that it was a 80’-90’s release and internet gives poor information about the production. Running on a Lemania 1866, 18K gold and ceramic dial. In love with the lugs, dial and crown+ pushers. The leather patina, exquisite hands..mmmmm, luv it

Nice pieces and reliable… don’t know much about Bulova personally but heard only good stuff about it… respect for such “silent” brands that just keep doing great work without screaming about it out loud

Didn’t expect to find here Bulova fans )) indeed somehow this brand is silent but does great stuff…

4 years ago I came across this Accutron I took it by absolute accident. 43 mm case, 12,5 thick, nothing special until here… but got stuck to the clear crystal providing great anti-reflecting properties… not sure about the movement though, some sources say it’s a Sellita, others its an ETA. Couldn’t figure it out so far, but doesn’t matter, really

Comes with a great system allowing to calibrate it by yourself, every newbie can do it without help from tech specialists. Just needs a hex hey coming along with the watch with which u adjust the settings. Accuracy is up to 99% even with self-adjustment.

Fits perfectly with all the formal events I attend )))

@chronoMagiK trust this watch, it's worth it

Never had one but heard only positive feedback about Bulova. This factory like the Elgin has made great work during 40-50 and still does it currently. From its lineups, lov the Art Deco cases
@chronoMagiK don't quite understand what frustrates u) the watch looks great and is as loud as it should be

I heard about Bulova different opinions, but it all depends on what you compare these watches with. To me, they provide a nice balance between price and quality. Most watch lovers will agree that it has done some pretty Accutron pieces run-in ton ETA 2892-A2. Also, Precisionist quartz is known for its great accuracy.

Maybe not as the high-end Swiss watches, but for the price it offers, the watches are pretty reliable.

A close friend of mine wearing a Bulova 96B230 and I remember him saying that it was a watch to remember and not to fall in love with at first sight :D indeed the watch didn’t have Buch of special in it except a large 42mm case and a conventional fluted bezel. But my friend loved it for its movement. Extremely accurate, with no specific maintenance requirements and a pretty good price.

Highly possible that this watch factory could achieve higher levels of brand awareness if its designers stopped the stupid quarrels and had one common focus.

Recalling my friend mentioning the reliable Precisionist P102 quartz, providing accuracy of +/- 10 sp/year. He could leave the watch for a year and put it on then and wouldn’t need to make other manipulations than just configure the date steel. He told that the b battery lasted insignificantly less than other quartz movements but it was never a major issue. Also, its shortcoming was the mineral crystal that could easily pick up minor scratches. But, for that price, it’s clear why Bulova didn’t opt for a sapphire. Overall, he remained satisfied with the serviceability of his watch. Clean dial, incredible accuracy, classic A-11 aspect highly6 versatile for all social environments and occasions. Too bad it didn’t come with a bracelet and a sapphire. For the rest, nice piece of work

Was looking pretty positive at this brand, if I can name it so…

But their recent news about tracking chip implementation into their watches without customer approval, kinda disappointed me, really. It’s a huge mistake making experiments with customers’ privacy in the modern era… so, the beauty of their watches means nothing for me on the background of their policy

where did u get this blush*t? there is no official info about Bulova implementing tracking tools in its watches. Would be great to provide either trusted sources or concrete official links referring to such info... why do you confuse people?
