    Rolex or Grand Seiko?:D

I’m honestly writing my personal opinion without having read the previous responses until I complete my posting. I really want to be as objective as possible and not being influenced by others’ insights… Truly admiring the finesse of the GS. And this refers to both the quality and the finish...

    reps longevity

agree with all of that... When u talk about rep lifespan, it’s just 5 percent luck and the rest is how u care about it. The luck is to come across a trusted dealer who can sell u indeed a good watch, even if it is Chinese, it still can work long. Chinese movements can be tricky. Some are good...

    Bulova... opinions required

Never had one but heard only positive feedback about Bulova. This factory like the Elgin has made great work during 40-50 and still does it currently. From its lineups, lov the Art Deco cases @chronoMagiK don't quite understand what frustrates u) the watch looks great and is as loud as it should be

with 95% similarity of reps, would u still opt for a gen?

I love watches but don’t see myself as a crazy fanatic collecting gen timepieces. So I limit myself in practicality. I love gen watches and watch brands, I follow their history, achievements, etc…it’s indeed a captivating hobby for me. Don’t think I’ll have a genuine one just t have a genuine...

    timepiece or statement piece?

time-indicating piece predominantly. when I need a watch for my sports activity, dont really care about how "statement" it is. what matters for me is that the watch meets my necesitities and demands. if it secondarily looks great, im only glad of it :D, but the "statement" is not my number 1...

    replica watches criteria for buying

Brand: yes Brand history: partially yes; Precision: Mandatory Exterior aspect: a skilled and professional manufacturing process is welcome; can’t stand design inaccuracies, though can admit some deviations from the gen model: Indifferent to the number of complications; Indifferent to...

do you guys admit openly your watch is a replica?

Can’t stand those moralizers teaching u about the “bad thing u do when u buy fake watches”. That’s why I keep my mouth shut and never talk about my rep openly. Every time smb asks me whether it’s gen or a rep, I ask back “what do u think”? Never go the “it’s a rep” answer :D Though, there is...

    scam ain't disappeared

so true... luckily, didn't have bad experiences with reps purchase. though many of my close friends paid for them and didn't get the reps, or received awful pieces. I observed that the more questions I give to a potential dealer, the more frustrated he becomes. they don't like educated people in...

    reps longevity

3 months ago I came across an old version of TAG HEUER in storage. It’s an Aquaracer that I bought back in 1998 when visiting Thailand. Not the best quality for a rep since I purchased it from a street boutique and reps weren’t much promising at those times. I got it out of the box, canned the...

What feature would make u NOT buy a watch?

even the minimalist dial gold watches?!

What feature would make u NOT buy a watch?

Can’t stand wide lugs around 24mm. Neither like tall sapphire crystals. These remind me of my grandpa’s huge lenses. Also, don’t quite like when the watch crown is integrated into the lugs like some models of the seamster.

    G shock watches...really?!

I’m afraid am on the same page with @SwInEIGh :D be they resistant and all u want but G-shocks look extremely heavy and overpowering oil the wrist. There too much functionality in it turning it into a computer on the wrist rather than a watch

    Sellita mechanism

Hi guys, Does anyone know about Sellita SW200 mechanisms? I was considering some watches based on this type of mechanism. Google info is a little ambiguous about its functionality and im still reticent about them. Several forums give not very promising opinions. Is it worth having watches...
