All customers involved in the replica watch hobby consider the same criteria when looking for a new replica watch: the dealer’s professionalism, quality vs price of the replica watches, and the website hosting their e-commerce items. All of them have a critical role and I can’t stop insisting that a good purchase process can’t skip any of these aspects.
I don’t know which of them is the most important and which of the is the least important. All these criteria are similarly essential and can’t exist without one another. Otherwise, the customer risks getting a fake watch with defects or coming across a replica dealer that doesn’t comply with his promises.
In this context, I’ll make an overall review of puretimewatch.io to offer answers to all the questions related to this replica watch dealer.
What is puretimewatch.io?
According to the name of the website, it gets easily clear that it deals with watches. Though, not every visitor will understand that it sells replica watches right away. Usually, other websites write it straightforward “best replica watches” or something similar, suggesting that the website hosts replica e-commerce. With this one, it takes some time to realize it, only after getting in-depth with the content. I can’t say it’s a good or a bad strategy. The only thing I can conclude is that a customer with little knowledge about the watch industry will not understand at the first sight that this site offers watch imitations.
Homepage
How important is the homepage for you? It’s very important, even if you don’t think so. The homepage instills either confidence or repulsion towards a certain seller. In addition, it conveys a certain message about how accurate the dealer is or about the professionalism degree of the seller.
Speaking about this seller, in particular, the first word that comes to mind when first opening the homepage, is that it’s “too much”. Too many pictures, too much content, and too much color. The eyes are running from the left to the right, upwards and downward the page to catch the main information.
In addition, the homepage contains too expressive pictures and too small writing. All of them are placed on a dark grey background. Therefore, you will have to focus steadily to not be distracted by the pictures and find the content that you need.
Homepage Structure
Structurally, this store has everything on the homepage a customer might potentially need. Speaking about functional menus, a new visitor can begin searching for a specific watch using the search tool right at the top of the homepage. In addition, the top of the site hosts all the important information a customer might need. Shipping and Handling, Payment Methods, FAQ, and About US- are on the top felt side, whereas the My Account, Track Your Order, Order status, and Customer Service- are on the top right corner. So, basically, a potential customer has it all organized, using the direct link to the piece of information he needs.
Following the search tool, the homepage goes on with a brown line indicating the main sections referring to watches. There you can go directly to Watch Brands, New Arrivals, Special offers, Accessories, Customer Order, and Blog and News sections. The structure of these sections is intuitive and comprehensive, leading any type of customer to the category he needs.
Further on...
There begins the “visual” part of the homepage. An advertising dynamic banner with interchanging pictures informs about current promotions. Under the banner, a long vertical section features plenty of pictures suggesting certain brands. Under this excessively bright section, the homepage continues by presenting replica watches on black frames on the back background.
Also, on the right side of the home page, there is another section vertically exposing the latest news and recently viewed products.
So, to conclude, the homepage makes the eyes get tired within the first 2 minutes, sadly. From the structural point of view, this seller has done a good job. The homepage indeed gives access and direction to any information that a customer would potentially require. But, from an aesthetic point of view, customers need to be ready to face an over-full, hardly readable, darkened, and heavily-loaded design.
Watch brands
Getting to the next step of the analysis, the “Watch Brands” section amazed me. I tried to make abstraction from the heavy design, and pay attention only to the content. As it turned out, puretimewatch.io is one of those sites that offers a truly wide spectrum of watch brands. But unlike other stores, it is far more structured and well-organized. All the watch brands come in blocks. Each block responds to a certain alphabet letter. For the “A” letter, there are 5 watch brands. For the “B” letter, there are 9 watch brands, and so on and so forth. I must say that the brands' portfolio is one of the richest that I have ever seen.
Apart from the traditional brands like Rolex, TAG Heuer, Omega, Tudor, and Vacheron Constantin, you can find here Titus, Welder, Valbray, Paul Picot, Oakley, Nubeo, MB&F, Mido, Movado, Chaykin, Ebel, and many other less common brands. On the whole, at the moment I counted them, there were 88 watch brands available. I don’t know exactly if all of them are available in stock, but I’ll try to figure it out later in this article. What I can safely say for the moment is that this store is the richest of all I’ve interacted with.
Watch descriptions
In case you select a watch to explore its specifics, I must warn you that you will come across a pretty “messy” page. Similar to the homepage, the watch description pages aren’t structured well, providing a sense of unprofessionalism in web design. Each watch comes with a lot of pictures from different angles and under different lights. Therefore, you can assume how the watch will look once you get yourself one. The downside is that the pictures don’t look clearly visible.
First, all of them have exaggerated watermarks on them, and it’s hard to abstract from them when you want to closely inspect the watch. I don’t understand why the seller places so much watermarked information on the pictures The name of the site, the logo, the Gmail address, and lots of tiny site names are placed vertically: all of them do nothing else but affect the picture clearance and visibility.
On the right side of the description page...
You can get familiar with the price of the watch and detailed technical specifications. Here, I must say that I see a piece of really detailed information, describing the exact type of movement, type of stainless steel, working functions, and water resistance profile. Many dealers hide this information on their websites. With puretimewatch.io you get informed sufficiently about the watch you are going to get.
At the bottom of the description page, customers leave their feedback about the specific watch. Obviously, all of them rate the watches and the buying experience with 5 stars. So, it’s not excluded that these reviews are fake. But I can’t assume it with 100%. At least, there is any feedback, unlike many other stores with no single customer review.
By the way, not all watches are available in stock. For any brands, most of them referring to less popular, the dealer writes “There is no product matching the selection”.
Prices
Despite the many sections available on this website, there are no filters. Therefore, you can’t filter the watches by price. You have to find the model you need and see its price on its description page. It’s a bit uncomfortable, sadly, as I can’t tell you exactly what is the price range of this store. But, I’ll give you a couple of examples. Thus, you can more or less have a general idea.
I took the Rolex category (which by the way is written RolXX in the store, for some reason) for example. The Daytona 116508 Noob 1:1 Best Edition Green Dial on YG Bracelet SA4130 is $868.
I looked at the Submariner 41mm 126613 LN Black Cemirac 904L Steel HKF 1:1 Best Edition VR3235 also. It is $440.
To vary the selection, I took a look at a Classic Fusion 42mm APSF 1:1 Best Edition Gray Dial on Black Gummy Strap A1110. Its price is $338. So, I might assume that the price range of this seller is somewhere between $350-$900.
Loyalty
This dealer seems generous in his loyalty programs. First of all, it offers a whole section with Special Offers. This section comprises a long listing of watches on sale. For example, the Yacht-Master 116622 904l steel running on an A2428 has dropped from $488 to $278. Similarly, A Tudor Pelagos Titanium, A2824 has been cut to $398 from $458. The good part is that the Special offers section is always available and there always are watches on sale. The bad part is that I can hardly believe that a 904l stainless steel watch can be about $200. But, it’s up to you to decide.
Second, the seller offers some time-limited special offers. You can benefit from them by clicking the advertising banner from the homepage. At the moment of my review, the running offer included 8% off related to the pre-Christmas super sale. 8% seems scarce for the Christmas super sale, I think, but thanks, anyway.
Third, there are some points you earn with every watch purchase. To get them, you have to register in the system. Each watch has a specific number of “PT” points, whatever it means. Not all watches have those PT points, only a limited number. Unfortunately, I didn’t find any additional information explaining what are these points and what you can use them for. You will have to reboot a registered user to find it out.
The last bonus dealer offers is a 3% discount if the customer pays via Western Union, Monogram, and Transferwise.
Customer Support
There is only one channel to communicate with the customer support assistants: via email. The advantage of this dealer is that it offers different emails, depending on the type of question you have. For quality control, you write to a specific address. For repair questions, you write to another address. There is also technical support, Tracking, Billing, and Pre-Sales emails to which you can address your specific question. More than that, you can find the names of the assistants you are going to interact with, for a more “human” interaction.
Return, refund, and warranty policies
According to the warranty policy, this dealer offers 6 months of warranty for all replica watches. If you want my personal opinion, I think 6 months is too little for watches up to $900. But, it’s just my subjective opinion. Another important aspect you must know is that the seller doesn’t accept returns and refunds. All items, regardless of their price, are non-refundable. So, make sure you know what you pay for, before buying from this site. You should make a vigilant inspection of the replica watch you intend to buy. You won't have the possibility to return it if you aren’t satisfied with it for some reason.
