In case you look for a customer review referring to swissking.to, here you have one. I was intending to buy a replica watch some time ago and I found this source. At first, it caught my attention through the offer of getting 20% off for two and more timepieces. Therefore, I thought it was a good possibility to buy 2 timepieces, why not? Hence, I did a little research on it and made up my own conclusion.
The whole history
I came across this platform 3 weeks ago, while I was searching for a replica timepiece. Swissking.to is a company that sells replica watches all over the world. This is also a platform that has a variety of brands available. All replica watches come with a Swiss movement. In its collection of replica timepieces, the store has about 34 brands in stock. From the most famous brands to the less popular, you can find here Sinn replicas, Longines, Montblanc, Zenith, ~Rolex, Parmigiani Fleurier, Graham, Corum, Chopard, chalet, Bell & Ross, Chopard, Baume Percier, Cartier, Patek Philippe, and many more watch brands.
On one hand, the list of brands available in this store is indeed amazing. On the other hand, it was consuming for me to analyze the specs of so many brands. However, the store is optimal for customers who have plenty of time to navigate through it.
I can’t say for how long this store has been active in the business. Personally, this aspect is pretty important. I mostly trust websites with a long history behind them. It feels comforting knowing that the store has vast experience accumulated over years. With this store, in particular, I couldn’t find this information, unfortunately.
Site construction
To begin with, the site construction is a bit complex, in my opinion. Every single page you open, be it the homepage, or the listing page, comes with plenty of functionalities. As a matter of fact, they all are more or less necessary, I must admit. But, some of them are too tiny that you can hardly see them, while others are too big and they needlessly grab your attention.
In addition, not many of them are intuitive. For example, let’s take the currency converter. To begin with, I’m from the USA. The prices on the store are indicated in sterlings, by default. Obviously, I would like to see the prices in US $, to better understand the price range. So, I hardly found the currency converter at the top of the site, even above the main menu bar. I even thought for a minute that there was no converter on the site. Finally, I found it, but its place is not intuitive at all. Would be much better to place the converter either near the price, in an icon form, or near the other filters.
Similarly, if continuing the epic of the complex site construction, just open any brand listing. Apart from the displayed watches, there are also plenty of icons to change the listing form, show different amounts of watches on the page, sort by different types, etc… So, plenty of elements that most probably are not so necessary for a traditional visitor.
What I’m trying to say here is that these elements complicate the overall design and usability. In most cases, less is more. And honestly, a simple visitor like my father, for example, would find it difficult to operate with so many filters and elements.
Too much confusing content
When I intend to buy a replica watch from a website, I inspect every single detail. Every time I come across a new online store I read carefully all the content to make sure that there is no confusion.
An important aspect that I have detected is the confusion related to the Return Policy.
To begin with, let me tell you that the homepage of the store catches the eye with a dynamic banner with interchangeable messages. One of those messages suggests that you can return the replica within 30 DAYS, with no questions asked.
Now, If you read the informational section at the bottom of the homepage carefully, you will find the statements saying that “the store guarantees 100% customer satisfaction, which is why the customer can return all replica items to receive a full refund within 10 DAYS, even just if the customer has changed his mind. Without any questions asked”.
On the other hand, the FAQ page suggests a completely different perspective on the matter. To the question “What if I would like a refund?”, the store answers that “unfortunately, the items are neither refundable nor exchangeable ”. In addition, the customers are encouraged to take full responsibility for the research of their replica watch from this store. Only in the case that the replica watch arrives damaged, the vendor will fix it for free, whenever the customer pays all the return taxes, of course.
So, which one of the 3 versions is applicable, after all?
Therefore, the information provided on the homepage is either copy-pasted from another source, or the vendor just wants to gain credit in front of the inexperienced user. I can see no other reasons why the vendor misleads the customers in such a way.
Homepage of the website
What I can say about the homepage (and the whole site, as well) is that it runs pretty fast. You don’t have to wait long for the pages to load.
The whole category of brands is exposed on the left side, in a vertical lining. You just simply place the cursor on Rolex (for example) and the additional window that appears in a frame of second displays all the available collections. 5 stars for the navigation speed.
In case you would like to go in-depth with watches descriptions and technical specifications, you can explore the Blog section, which is found just in the main menu bar. The blog mainly focuses on describing the particularities of Swiss replica watches. Though the existing articles are pretty informative, they only describe just a few replica models. Overall, there are no more than about 5 articles available. The downside of the Blog section is that it hasn’t been updated since April 2020.
Back to the homepage, “clean” is definitely NOT the right adjective for describing it. It is bright due to the white background. However, it looks inaccurate due to the lack of a clear structure. The upper half looks acceptable. It features the main menu bar and a banner announcing special offers. But below the banner is where the chaos begins. The watches’ listing of Best Sellers and Random Products involves too many color combinations. Blue watch names, red contours, black backgrounds for the watches, plenty of watermarks on the watch pictures, and orange prices- these all suggest a lack of aesthetic taste, unfortunately.
Further on, the grey content passage from the bottom of the homepage is placed from the left to the right on the whole horizontal surface. It looks strung and unstructured, while the font is out of context. The homepage does not reflect the accuracy and the clear concept of the Swiss-made goods, at all.
Prices
The prices differ according to the brand and model selected. Speaking about the Rolex portfolio, the cheapest replica watch is $480, while the most expensive is $788. The Panerai collection is between $588-and $788. The Patek Philippe is between $588 and $1,588.
All watches are equipped with Swiss-made movements, which may vary in their stainless steel grade. Some use 904L steel, others 316 grade. In addition, they all come with a sapphire crystal and a waterproof capacity ranging between 20 and 100 meters, depending on the model.
In case you select 2 or more watches, the 20% discount is autonomically applicable when adding the items to your cart. You can pay for the items via Mastercard, Visa card, as well as Paypal.
Conclusion
Although the discount for 2 items seemed attractive to me, I remained reticent about the impossibility of returning the items. What if I wasn’t satisfied with them? The confusion about the return policy made me abstain from ordering from this store.
While the brands’ availability is indeed imposing, the store has a lot to work on its design. The homepage is the visit card of any website and it is a pity to lose customers because of a poor homepage design. You can check the most rated stores and compare this one with other alternatives. There you can certainly find sources with more credible return policies and attractive designs, along with similar attractive offers.
