Hi guys,. there is one interesting thing that happened to me recently, and I\m totally confused and i don't know how to react to this.
I wanted this Seiko for a long time, I just love the way it looks, and felt like I can totally go with the model. It resonates with me if you understand what I meant. This is the case when you just see the watch and you already like it.
I have a good supplier that got me a lot of good watches from Rolex, Vacheron, Tissot, and Cassio. I have never had problems with the watches, and all the watches that I got were really good AAA.
When I ordered the Seiko Presage Takumi "The Laurel" Anniversary Edition, I was so high on expectations, i couldn't wait to see what Im going to get.
Especially when you know that the supplier is a good one, you already know without a doubt that you are going to have a good model.
There was a surprise for me..
I'm really sorry i can't share here a video to see what happens with this one, but im going to try to describe it. Every time i move the strap, there is a creaky sound between the strap and the stainless steel mechanism that was created to connect the strap with the watch.
The creaky sound is really loud. This loud sound is when i move the strap and the watch is not on my wrist. When i put it on my wrist, the sound il lighter, you can steel hear it but it is not that loud.. in addition to the sound when i move my wrist, i feel the creaky sound too.. if you get what i mean.
I contacted my supplier and i told him about this thing. He told me that sometimes it can happen when it is new and that after some time it will pass. Another thing that he added, is that it is steel a replica and that they don't have the possibility to control all the models that they get.
He assured me that it is going to pass..
First of all, i feel really weird about it. I can't say that he is a bad supplier, because i have never had bad experiences with him, but at the same time, it doesnt feel normal for me to say that it can happen and that it is going to pass.
From other aspects, the watch looks good, like a normal good AAA replica.
Of course, Im going to do something about the strap. I don't know if i have to change it or to bring it to a professional. Maybe there is something that I can do?
I would like you to tell me if this is generally okay, if this happened to you and if you did something about it.
Thank you!
