Hi there,
I need your advice. Good news - got my dream job finally. bad news- I have to adapt my wardrobe and accessories to fit in the new context. I'm the freestyle guy but the new job environment requires a more elevated style. so, was thinking to get a couple of dress watches in addition to some more solid clothes that I already bought. I'm running out of ideas because I haven't really dealt with dress watches until now, so seek some insights from those who are good at this matter.
Could you recommend anything suitable? here some of the specs to consider:
- a watch with a case up to 12 mm thick
- the case should not be wider than 40 cm as my wrist is modest in size
- the colors revolve around smth neutral like silver, stainless steel, or maybe champagne
- the maximum I want from functions is 3-hand and maybe date, but not more than that. I prefer minimalism to begin with
-quartz would be just fine if it is a replica; for gens-autos will greatly do
- the price is limited to $2k for a gen and about $500 for a rep, for a good one
From the models I managed to analyze, 2 watches seem to match my criteria, but idk, need your validation. it's a Gen Flagship Heritage and a rep OP39. though, not sure that the Rolex is of good quality. if any of you have this model in the rep version, let me know how it looks and works
So grateful for any opinion
